Fall has arrived in our little neck of the woods. The highs are only in the mid 80's and the mornings are nice and cool for a couple hours after we wake up. I've been taking Marc on morning walks and he loves it. He tries to run and watching him is hilarious.
My little boy is growing so fast and becoming more and more adventurous. He loves getting into things he knows he shouldn't. I swear he probably thinks his name is "No". I've had to rearrange the living room AGAIN so that he won't climb on his toy chest and bang on the window. The windows are old and fragile and I can just picture him breaking them.
He is trying harder and harder to say more words. The word of the week is "juice". He brings me his empty sippy cup, grabs my hand and leads me to the fridge and says "Juice." I love it! He is so smart and observant and such a joy. He loves his Daddy, his Puppy and snuggling with Mommy for bedtime. Marc and I are so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing little boy.
Next week I am going to be making a couple of family favorites and a couple of new recipes for dinner. I can't wait to share them with you. So far on the menu is King Ranch Chicken (One of Marc's favorites), Carne Guisada (another favorite), Taco Fiesta (an easy one pan meal), Chicken Tortilla Soup (so simple and filling) and Crock Pot Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches from another blog I follow. Using the crock pot last weekend totally motivated me to start trying new recipes in my crock pot.
I hope you all have an amazing and blessed weekend!
