So, I'm hosting Thanksgiving for Marc's family this year! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm nervous and excited all at once! Lots of cooking. But, I love to cook so that's no biggie. I just hope everything tastes good! Marc's going to fry and smoke turkey's. Yummy!! I'm making the usual: Green Bean Casserole, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Yams, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie (store bought) and of course rolls. Oh, and Marc's mom is teaching me how to make her fruit salad.
I'm hoping Marc's sister Audra and husband and kids make it up! And of course his sister Laura and her partner, Natasha. But if not, it will be us and his parents.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Any special traditions. I'm so excited to celebrate Marc Jr's first Thanksgiving!
You will be fine, personally I always think the turkey is the thing to be nervous about, but if marc is making it- one less thing to worry about. Plus, you will have lots of people to take baby marc off your hands! That's always a plus!

We always do thanksgiving lunch with my family, then dinner with Trace's- whoa that's a lot of calories in one day :)
Hey Ash! I'm sure his parents will be staying a few nights. Found out yesterday his sister Audra may not come up for Thanksgiving but maybe the next weekend. Her son has a basketball tournament up here. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteThat's how we did Thanksgiving last year - Lunch with my family and then dinner with his. It was exhausting, though. So, I'm kind of glad its going to be here at my house and we don't have to drag the baby out.
